National Highways have informed us that a full Northbound overnight closure is planned on the A43 from January 6 to early summer 2025. Residents of Whitfield Village will have access via a traffic management escort through the works. The work will consist of reinstating an existing embankment slope, remedial works to existing drainage, and carrying out vegetation clearance and replantation of landscape. To keep the programme for these works as short as possible and to minimise disruption to the local community, residents, businesses and road users, the work will take place overnight 8pm until 6am on Monday to Friday.
