Upcoming A422 Overnight Road Closure

The A422 between Middleton Cheney and Brackley is set to close overnight both ways for the removal of the existing centreline, and installation of newly hatched centre lining. 

There will be two phases to the work. Phase 1, Monday 14 October - Saturday 19 October, and Phase 2, Monday 21 October - Saturday 26 October. Both phases are set to take place between the hours of 8pm - 6am.

Access to all businesses and residents will be maintained at all times when safe to do so. The site team will assist at each closure gate. Public transport will not be able to access the closure during working hours (8pm - 6am)

 Phase 1:  14 Oct - 19 Oct

 Phase 1:  A422 | Brackley - Farthinghoe

 Overnight  8pm - 6am

 Phase 2:  21 Oct - 26 Oct

 Phase 2:  A422 | Farthinghoe - Middleton Cheney

 Overnight  8pm - 6am
