Supporting Forest Schools
As part of its biodiversity projects, Brackley Town Council recently dropped off some useful materials for the students of Bracken Leas School, including wood chip, stepping stone logs, and brushwood for shelter building. The children got stuck in, helping to unload everything and having a great time in the process!
While they worked, the estates team also taught the children about the Council’s ongoing efforts to support biodiversity in Brackley and the surrounding area. Working together, they helped improve the school’s forest area, and this is just the beginning! The Council will be back in the coming months to continue the work.
If any other local schools or groups would like materials or help with a similar project, get in contact via email at office@brackleynorthants-tc.gov.uk, and we’ll see how we can help.
