Essential Tree Works

Over the coming weeks WNC will be carrying out essential tree works to the High Street trees.  This work is required to ensure the health and longevity of these beautiful trees along our High Street.

Schedule of works

Section one - 12 to 14 August from the Buckingham Road traffic lights to the Post Office.  There will be temporary 3-way traffic lights.

Section two - 21 to 23 August which will require the closure of the slip road from Buckingham Road to the public toilets (south bound).

Section three - 27 to 30 August with a closure to the north bound slip from the bus stop to Hill Street.

The final section - 2 to 6 September from the Post Office to Burwell Hill and this will involve parking suspensions moving up the High Street as works progress.

There will be parking suspension in place during these periods.  We ask that if you see parking suspension notices in the areas noted above, please do not park as it will delay these essential works.
