Today, we mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a pivotal moment in history when courage, sacrifice and determination shaped the future. 

We remember the bravery of those who fought and the ultimate sacrifice made by so many. Their heroism and the immense logistical effort behind Operation Overlord continue to inspire us. Soldiers from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and other Allied nations united in a common cause. 

Let us pay tribute to the fallen, support our veterans and educate future generations about the significance of this day. Their sacrifice was not in vain and their memory will forever live on in our hearts.
