Charter Market Cancelled Due to Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday Road Closures
On Friday 11 November, the Brackley Charter Fair will be cancelled due to the Armistice Service held at the Brackley War Memorial.
This will also mean that on Friday 11 November, the following road closures will occur:
- Town Hall slip road and parking spaces will be closed from approximately 10:00 - 12:30.
- High Street and Market Place including car park from approximately 10:00 - 12:30. The main road will be closed for as little time as possible to ensure safety.
On Sunday 13 November, the following road closures will occur due to the Brackley Remembrance Service and Parade:
- Town Hall slip road, lower section of the car park, parking spaces from the Crown Hotel to the traffic lights will be closed between 10:30 - 16:30. All cars MUST be removed.
- High Street from Buckingham Road to Banbury Road will be closed between 14:00 - 16:30.
- High Street from Halse Road/Church Road to Buckingham Road will be closed between 14:00 - 15:00.
Please ensure all vehicles are moved ahead of the road closures. Access for emergency services only within the closure.
Please do not fly drones over the event, this has been requested by Northamptonshire Police who will have a zero tolerance policy.
