Brackley Student Designs Wildlife-Friendly Seed Dispenser

Posted in Brackley Town Council

Brackley Town Council is proud to celebrate the efforts of local student Riley Moore, who recently completed a brilliant community-focused project as part of his A Level in Design Technology. Riley, currently studying at Chenderit School, created a seed dispenser to support pollinators and benefit local wildlife.

The project was inspired by ongoing work to increase pollinator-friendly spaces across Brackley. Riley’s seed dispenser offers residents an easy way to plant pollen-rich flowers—like Borage—in their own gardens, supporting bees and other vital pollinators.

The dispenser is currently hosted at Brackley Library and is available for the community to use. We encourage residents to pop in, collect a packet of seeds, and help brighten up Brackley’s gardens while supporting local wildlife. There’s also a space to leave feedback—so if you use the dispenser, don’t forget to share your thoughts and help Riley with his project.

This kind of passion and creativity is exactly what makes Brackley such a special place. If you or someone you know is working on a local initiative that supports the community, wildlife, or wellbeing, we’d love to hear about it. Let’s keep celebrating the good things growing in Brackley!
