Brackley Boy's Trees Take Root

In November 2022, young Brackley resident Albert Walker set out on a special mission—collecting acorns from around the town and nurturing them into oak saplings. With the support of his Mum, Dad, Granny & Grampy, Albert carefully planted each acorn, nurturing them with patience and dedication. With the help of his family, he ensured they had the best start in life.
His efforts were so successful that he recently donated the thriving young saplings to Brackley Town Council. In recognition of his dedication to nature and the local environment, the council has now planted them at the Rose Open Space, where they will take root and, over time, grow into magnificent oak trees. These trees will stand as a lasting legacy, providing beauty, shade, and a haven for wildlife for generations to come. Thanks to his efforts, future generations will enjoy the beauty and benefits of these trees for years to come.
