A43 - Two Consecutive Full Weekend Closures - FEB/MAR 25

EKFB has informed us of two full weekend closures of the A43 in both directions between Brackley and Syresham for essential bridgeworks. During the works, residents will not be able to exit Whitfield and travel north onto the A43. We have been informed that Whitfield residents will receive additional communications prior to the closures, detailing the arrangements for a vehicle escort service and what to expect.

The first closure will begin at 10pm on Friday 28th February, and the road will reopen at 6am on Monday 3rd March.

The second closure will begin at 10pm on Friday 7th March, with reopening scheduled for 6am on Monday 10th March

Closure 1:

📍 Brackley - Syresham
🗓️ Fri 28th February - Mon 3rd March
⏰ 10pm - 6am (Continuous)

Closure 2:

📍 Brackley - Syresham
🗓️ Fri 7th March - Mon 10th March
⏰ 10pm - 6am (Continuous)

As a contingency, should there be delays to the works, full weekend closures will instead take place on:

• 10pm Friday 14th March - 6am Monday 17th March
• 10pm Friday 21st March - 6am Monday 24th March

These dates may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather. These works are subject to required consents.
